Our Story

Thank you for shopping Down South Dog Designs, an online store for Dogs and Dog Lovers!  We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service, and in the products we sell. 

 

Our story began when we got our first Jack Russell puppy and went to a Jack Russell Terrier Trial to see what it was all about.  Baylee won her first ribbon and ended up being an all-around champion bitch.  Racing, Lure, Conformation, Brush Hunt, Trailing & Locating, Go-To-Ground, Super Earth, Agility – we now have a pack of 6 and travel the country - living the Jack Russell Life!

 

Jack Russell Life was founded in 2013, specializing in handmade martingale swivel leashes for small to medium sized dogs.  Over the years, we created, tested, and added more products to our online store.  As our business changed, we were prompted to rename our company.  We don’t just offer products to Jack Russell Terriers, but other breeds too! The name Down South Dog Designs was created in 2020.  Not only do we have our online store, but we are often a vendor at some dog events on the East coast, USA.  Our schedule of events is listed on our home page.
